No. There is no directory.
No — by design, in every phase. There is no public directory and no client-side search. A client sees an expert’s profile only once an engagement is live and you are named in the scope of work. That is what protects your privacy, guarantees conflict screening, and keeps the matching honest.

Only the few people inside CauseWay who cost a mandate. It is never shown to a client, never shown to another expert, and it leaves the interface the moment you submit it.

The standard
Claim by claim, in your words.
Each specialization you claim opens a prompt written for that specialization — the counterpart institutions, the mandates, the year, the outcome. A reviewer reads what you wrote against that claim, not a generic CV. An unevidenced claim is simply not counted; it is not held against you either.
The standard
You cannot fail it.
It is a short, well-established values questionnaire — twenty-one brief portraits of people, each rated for how much that person is or is not like you, on a six-point scale. It takes about ten minutes and exists in Arabic and English. It is not a personality test, not an integrity test, and there is no pass mark: nothing is scored against a cut-off and no one is declined on it. It gives the conversation that follows something better than small talk to start from, and you are shown your own result.

Because of what the work touches.
Because of what the work touches — supervisory files, unpublished figures, institutions under examination. Judgement in that setting is not a matter of technical skill alone, and it is more honest to discuss it openly than to infer it silently from a CV.

Yours to see, then deleted.
It is shown to you, held with your application, and seen only by the reviewer and the person who interviews you. It is not shared with clients, not attached to your profile, and not used for anything after the decision. If you are not admitted it is deleted with the rest of your file.

Your rate. Thirty days.
At the day rate you set, on the terms in the signed scope of work. We acknowledge an invoice within five working days and pay within thirty of acknowledgement. If we are going to be late, you hear it from us before the date, not after.

Advisory (a written opinion or working session, one to five days, remote), review bench (peer challenge on someone else’s deliverable, two to four days, remote), field deployment (diagnostic or implementation in country, two to eight weeks), or training faculty (curriculum and delivery, per programme). The scope of work names which one, the days, and what you hand over.

None of the three. You are engaged per mandate under a scope of work you sign, at a senior day rate, with your independence intact. No exclusivity, no retainer obligation, and no expectation that you accept what you are offered.

Process
Four to six weeks.
From submission to decision, usually four to six weeks: a same-day completeness check, senior review within five working days, integrity checks, the calibration and conversation, then references and a written decision. If we fall behind our own timing, you hear it from us before you have to ask.

You are told in writing, with the reason — not left in silence. Most declines are about evidence or timing rather than standing, and you are welcome to apply again with new work behind you. Your file is kept only as long as the retention you consented to allows.

Yes. Arabic is a first language here, not a translation layer — the application, the correspondence, the legal texts, the scope of work and the portal. The language you choose governs every message you receive from us.
